App Is the SIZZAPP app free, and which phones is it on? +
Yes - SIZZAPP Pro is completely free, with no subscription, on both iOS and Android. It is available in 8 languages: English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Greek, Latvian and Russian.
App What can the app do? +
20+ tools: live location, route history, geofences, crash / theft / disconnection alerts, trip and speed statistics, battery level with low-battery alerts, custom maintenance reminders, trip sharing and a security log.
App Can I export the routes I have driven? +
Yes - in GPX and PNG format.
App Can I share my vehicle's location with friends or family? +
Yes. There are several ways to share your location, with both app users and non-users.
App Can I stop notifications while I am working on the bike? +
Yes - just turn off the Security feature, or switch on silent mode.
App I have lost access to my old email and cannot log in. How do I fix it? +
Contact our support team - by email (below), via messenger, or directly through the app - and we will restore your access.
App How long do you store my trip history? +
Your trip history and statistics live on the map and trips widget, and are stored on SIZZAPP servers for 2 years.
App The app says the server is offline. What is wrong? +
Usually a phone-internet issue. Check your connection and, if needed, reinstall the app. Contact support if it persists.
Software Is there really no subscription or monthly fee? +
Correct - no monthly fees, ever. A special built-in SIM with lifetime data keeps it that way, so your protection can never be switched off by a missed payment.
Software What network does it use, and is there a SIM? +
4G LTE-M with automatic 2G fallback, worldwide. The SIM is built in with data included for the life of the device.
Software What happens if I am somewhere with no network? +
The device keeps tracking and stores positions internally - it updates your info automatically once it regains a connection.
Software How often does it record a new position, and how fast does the app refresh? +
A new position is logged whenever - whichever happens first - the angle changes by more than 10°, you move more than 500 m, or speed changes by more than 50 km/h. The app then refreshes from the server every 5 seconds.

Real-time accuracy is within a few metres and also depends on where the device is mounted. Location accuracy by model:
Software Can I use my account on more than one device? +
Yes - log in with the same account on your phone, tablet and more, all at the same time.
Software I travelled to a new country and it stopped working. What now? +

Yes - a built-in battery keeps it alive after a disconnection:
Hardware Will it drain my battery if I do not ride for a while? +
SIZZAPP Max draws more in sleep mode, so a small battery (~2.5 Ah) can run down in about two weeks. SIZZAPP nova uses a far more optimized power-off sleep with the lowest possible draw - up to 3 months on the same battery without recharging. Roughly: Max ~200 mA/day, nova ~20 mA/day (at 12 V).
Hardware Is it compatible with my vehicle? +
It fits most vehicles with a 10-30 V battery (nova up to 97 V). Check the dimensions and voltage for your bike to be sure; it will not work with 6 V batteries.

Every model runs from −40 °C to +85 °C.

Installation Do I need a professional to install it? +
No. The 2-wire install is straightforward - use the sticky pad to mount it (ideally under the seat, facing up) and connect the +/− wires to the battery knobs. The OBD model is plug-and-play.
Installation Where should I mount it? +
Under the seat, preferably face-up, for the best signal. No room there? It works mounted vertically too.
Installation The lights blink but there is no signal after reconnecting. What now? +
Take a short ride and let it rest about 30 minutes to reconnect to the server. If it persists, send your IMEI to support and we will help.
Installation The LEDs are not blinking after I wired it in. +
Double-check the plus / minus wires and the connector are firmly attached, then contact support if it persists.
Installation Can I track other vehicles or assets? +
Yes. Although it is designed for motorcycles, riders successfully use SIZZAPP on cars, ATVs, jet-skis, snowmobiles, boats, motorhomes and more.

Delivery When will I receive a tracking number? +
Your tracking ID will be emailed to you once your order is dispatched, usually within 5 working days. In some cases, processing may take a little longer.
Delivery Will I have to pay import tax? +
It depends on the destination. Import taxes or customs fees may apply. All orders are shipped with DHL.
Delivery Can I return the device if I am not satisfied? +
Yes - return the device within 14 days of receiving it. Hardware is also covered by a 24-month warranty.

No. SIZZAPP does not share user data with third parties - unless you explicitly ask us to.
