I keep getting SMS notifications, but no notifications on the app or vice versa, what should I do?

I have parked my vehicle, but it still shows as in trip, what should I do?

There can be a data transfer delay if nothing changes after a while and the device has not regained its connection to the server, please send us your IMEI and contact us via emails: support@sizzapp.cominfo@sizzapp.com, messenger or directly through the app.

How does the app know if my device is on trip or on stop?

This is based on whether your engine is turned on or off, or in the case of constant movement.

Is there a way to reset the unit and all of its statistics?

For the moment it is not possible to do it manually so please send us your IMEI and contact us via emails: support@sizzapp.com, info@sizzapp.com, messenger or directly through the app.

How long is the warranty?

24 months.

How long is the lifetime guarantee?

As long as the device works and the 4G networks are in place.

Is there a subscription or monthly fee to use SIZZAPP?

We are proud to state that we have no monthly fees.

The app says that my IMEI is already in use, what should i do?

It seems that your IMEI is connected to an older account of yours, please send us your old email address, IMEI and contact us via emails: support@sizzapp.cominfo@sizzapp.com, messenger or directly through the app.

Do I need to buy a SIM card for the device?

No, the SIM card comes with the device.

Is there a battery-saving mode for the SIZZAPP PRO app?

Yes, the app offers a battery-saving mode that optimizes power consumption while providing essential tracking and notification features. We call it Deep Sleep Mode which turns on automatically when the motorcycle has been inactive for at least an hour.

How do you sustain no monthly fees?

We have a special SIM card in place, which is specially intended for our device and thus we are able to sustain a policy of no monthly fees.

Can I track multiple motorcycles on the same app?

Yes, the SIZZAPP PRO app allows you to monitor and track multiple motorcycles from a single account. You can easily switch between different vehicles within the app.

How much is the device's battery drain?

Energy consumption in idle (Deep sleep) mode is 150-250 mA per day at 12V. 

I have connected the device successfully, the LED’s are blinking, but it seems that it is not connected to the network. What should I do?

The device needs time to get used to the new surroundings, please take the motorcycle out for a short ride and let it rest for about 30 minutes to establish a connection with the server.

I have connected the wiring but the device LED’s are not blinking, what should I do?

Check if the wires have been connected correctly, meaning that the +/- wires are connected to the appropriate knobs. Check if the connector is properly attached to the device and battery.

What network does the SIZZAPP Max device use?

Uses 4G LTE-M network with fallback to 2G network where the 4G is not available

Can I export the routes I have driven?

Yes, in GPX and PNG format.

Can I stop getting notifications when I’m working on the bike?

Yes, simply turn off the Security feature or turn on silent mode feature. Here is the LINK

I got a notification that I need to update my device. Where do I do that?

Simply head to the appropriate apps tore for your phone and press update

How does the SIZZAPP app help with motorcycle maintenance?

The app provides useful data, such as mileage and average speed, which can aid in motorcycle maintenance and servicing. It also shows your motorcycles battery levels and will send notifications if the battery level is low. Additionally you can set custom notifications for maintenance checkups etc.

Is the SIZZAPP mobile app available for both Android and iOS?

 Yes, the SIZZAPP app is available for both Android and iOS devices. You can download it from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

The app shows that the server is offline, what could possibly be the issue?

Check you you mobile phones internet connection and if that is fine try reinstalling the app on your phone

Can I share my motorcycle's location with friends or family?

Yes, there are multiple ways of sharing your location with both app users and non users, please watch the app tutorial video for a visual example of this.

Can I view my trip history and statistics on the app and how long do you store the data?

Yes, the SIZZAPP app provides a detailed trip history and analytics section , just press on the map from the main dashboard and then on the trips widget on the bottom left corner of your screen. 

The data is stored in SIZZAPP servers for 2 Years.

What happens if I am somewhere without network connection?

The device still keeps tracking and will update your info once it regains connection with a network

I traveled to a new country and the device stopped working. What should I do?

Can I access my SIZZAPP account from multiple devices?

Yes, you can access your SIZZAPP account from multiple devices simultaneously, such as your smartphone and tablet as long as you log in with the same account. You can use differing methods of authorization for different device brands and you can manage those methods within the application.

Does SIZZAPP MAX support offline tracking?

 While the app requires an internet connection for real-time tracking, the SIZZAPP MAX GPS tracker continues to store data internally when offline. Once it regains a cellular connection, it syncs the stored data with the app.

How Often does the device renew its location?

The SIZZAPP MAX device generates a new position record on each of the following events whichever occurs first: angle change for more than 10 degree, or distance change for more than 500 meters, or a speed value change for more than 50 km/h.

Every 5 seconds.

How often does SIZZAPP update its app and device features?

Once a month we have system updates and all-around bug fixes, feel free to contact us with any recommendations on how to improve the app and for our next update.

How accurate is the SIZZAPP GPS tracking system?

The SIZZAPP Max GPS tracker provides accurate real-time location updates, typically within a few meters. 

However, it also depends on how and where you have mounted the device as we reccomend you install it face-side up under your seat. 

Is the SIZZAPP MAX GPS tracker waterproof?

Yes, the SIZZAPP GPS tracker is designed to be waterproof, with IP67 rating - ensuring durability and reliable performance in various weather conditions.

Will it drain my battery if I don’t use the motorcycle?

We recommend you check the battery levels on the app at least once a week as it does depend on the type of battery your motorcycle has. We also recommend you turn on notification for low battery.

Be aware that some Motorcycles have small batteries and you should check the battery levels every 3 days.

Is there an internal battery which continues to work after the device is disconnected?

The Internal battery has 170 mA capacity, which will last 3 hours in active mode and up to 24 hours in deep sleep mode once the device is disconnected.

Is SIZZAPP Max compatible with all motorcycle models?

SIZZAPP Max is designed to be compatible with most motorcycle models as long as they have a battery.

 However, we recommend checking the product specifications, voltage and dimensions to make sure it will fit your bike. The device will not work with 6V batteries.

Does it matter how I have mounted the device to my motorcycle?

We do recommend attaching under your seat, preferably face-up for the best connection. If you don’t have space there, you can install it vertically as well.

I disconnected my device previously, now it is connected, but there is no incoming signal although the lights are blinking, what should I do?

Can I use SIZZAPP to track other vehicles or assets?

While SIZZAPP is primarily designed for motorcycles, many users have successfully used it to track other vehicles or assets.

I have received a new SIM card, but it still doesn’t work. What should I do?

Please send us the issue description, IMEI number, screenshots from the app and SIM card number which can be found on the back via email or messenger.

How do I install the SIZZAPP GPS tracker on my motorcycle?

The installation process is straightforward. We provide detailed instructions with the device. 

Simply use the sticky pad to attach the device preferably under your seat faced up and connect the +/- wiring to the appropriate battery knobs. 

Do I have to pay import tax when shipping to the UK?

Possibly, if you choose UPS as a delivery method.

Can I return the device if I am not satisfied by its performance?

Yes, you can return the device within 14 days of receiving it

I have just bought the device. When will I receive a tracking ID?

The tracking ID should fall in you email within 1-5 working days.

Do you share data with 3rd parties?

The simple answer is NO, SIZZAPP is not permitted to share user data with 3rd parties, unless the user asks to do so.

Is my personal data and motorcycle information secure with SIZZAPP?

Absolutely!
